Spock's Smoking Has Caught Up With Him Despite Quitting 30 Years Ago! Leonard Nimoy Announces He Has COPD!

Sometimes even if you quit, it’s too little too late — and that’s why you shouldn’t even start smoking to begin with! That’s the BEST way to avoid health problems later in life!
Don’t get us wrong: quitting is still the healthiest and best option if you HAVE started smoking, and it will always be 100% worth it!
It’s just a shame that we’ve heard the news that Spock, A.K.A. Leonard Nimoy (the O.G.), has COPD… regardless of quitting smoking 30 years ago!
He revealed the diagnosis on Twitter, saying:

Take his advice!
Nobody wants a chronic lung disease like COPD or WORSE! It’s not worth it!
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is awful, and comes in TWO different forms: chronic bronchitis, which involves a long-term cough with mucus; and Emphysema, which involves the ‘destruction of the lungs over time.’ It’s real and it’s awful, so HERE‘s an in-depth look at it and the on-going fight to beat it.
P.S. — If you’re wondering, LLAP means “Live Long and Prosper.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t mean “Ladies Love Aaron Paul” no matter how absolutely true it is.
