Well then.
Leonardo DiCaprio debuted a new look on Saturday at Oceana‘s annual SeaChange party, and we’re not sure if we’re in love with it.
While at first glance it looks as though Leo dressed pretty appropriately for the event, a closer look tells an entirely different story.
The first thing that draws our attention are those shoes.
Now, on their own, these hip sneakers would look pretty cool. But not when paired with a suit, and especially when said suit-wearer is a 39-year-old man.
Second, Leo’s not even wearing a tie with his look, which makes sense since this was technically a summer party, but why wear the suit, then?
However, we do like the fit of the all black suit, mostly. The skinny cut in the leg makes Leo look trendy, without entering hipster areas. But the slim fit doesn’t work so well in the midsection, where the fabric seems to be pulling a little.
All of these things could be overlooked, though, had Leonardo not donned his newly trademarked man-knot on the back of his head.
We just don’t get it. It doesn’t look good, it’s probably uncomfortable since there isn’t enough hair to justify putting it up, and it makes Leo just look haggard.
We’re sorry, Leo. We’re just not feeling it.
But what do you think?! Is Leo mixing classic style with a modern element, or does he just look a little off?
