Okay, so we’re not 100% sure if J. Edgar is being depicted as gay in Clint Eastwood’s film, but it’s becoming quite clear that Leo is very comfortable with gay subject matter.
Warner Bros announced that Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star in a biopic about Alan Turing, who was “one of the most prominent math geniuses during World War II.”
The screenplay called The Imitation Game was written by first-time screenwriter Graham Moore AND it sold to WB for SEVEN FIGURES! Quite a first sale for the newcomer writer!!!!!
The script is based on Andrew Hodges‘ biography entitled Alan Turing: The Enigma, and the story has been described as follows:
“[The story follows] the life and times of the brilliant British mathematician and criminally prosecuted homosexual whose tortured soul drove him to suicide by consuming a cyanide-laced apple.”
Sounds like a sad, but important film. We’ll definitely check it out when it gets released!
What do U think? Is Leo right for this role?
