Leonardo DiCaprio Howls That The Wolf Of Wall Street Is "Misunderstood!"

Some movie viewers have found the three hours of sex and drugs in The Wolf of Wall Street to be advocating its characters’ wild and lascivious lifestyles.
According, to the big, not-so-bad wolf himself, this couldn’t be further from the truth!
In a recent interview, Leonardo DiCaprio wanted to set the record straight (WHY? WHY DOES LEO HAVE TO BE STRAIGHT?!… oops, sorry) and let us know about the film’s intended message:

├óΓé¼┼ôThis film may be misunderstood by some; I hope people understand we├óΓé¼Γäóre not condoning this behavior, that we├óΓé¼Γäóre indicting it. The book was a cautionary tale and if you sit through the end of the film, you├óΓé¼Γäóll realize what we├óΓé¼Γäóre saying about these people and this world, because it├óΓé¼Γäós an intoxicating one.”

Hmm so just like The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug isn’t condoning the greed and avarice of a talking, fire breathing dragon, The Wolf of Wall Street isn’t condoning the greed and avarice of Jordan Belfort, Leo’s character (who also talks)?
Inneresting…
Well, all in all, we think Leo has a valid point, and unlike his character, he’d never defraud us!
