Leslie Jones blasts Sephora!

Leslie Jones shares a shocking story about Sephora amid the retailer’s controversy.
On Tuesday on Twitter, the Saturday Night Live star said her makeup artist, Lola Okanlawon, and her best friend’s wife went to a New York location because the wife needed supplies, and to learn how to apply the products.

Unfortunately, per the actress’ account, Okanlawon called her back in tears after the store’s salesperson and manager allegedly treated the two poorly.
The funny lady wrote:

“I sent my makeup artist @LolasBeautyMark and my best friends wife to @Sephora 2103 Broadway store. she needed makeup and to learn how to apply. my makeup artist just called in tears of how bad they treated her and my friends wife!! The salesperson and manager. SO NO MORE SEPHORA”

Jones added on Instagram:

“I am tired of the f**kery yo!! If we spend money in your store we deserve customer service too. As we reported, following an alleged racial profiling incident involving SZA, the multinational chain revealed it will be shutting down all of its locations on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 to hold diversity training for its staff.
The company announced on Facebook:

“On the morning of 6/5, every Sephora store, distribution center, and corporate office in the US will close to host inclusion workshops for our employees. These values have always been at the heart of Sephora, and we’re excited to welcome everyone when we reopen.”

They also posted on their banner:

“Sephora believes in championing all beauty, living with courage, and standing fearlessly together to celebrate our differences. We will never stop building a community where diversity is expected, self-expression is honored, all are welcomed, and you are included.”

About a month ago, SZA revealed on social media that she was shopping at the Calabasas location when an imperious woman reportedly called security on her for no reason.
The musician tweeted:

“Lmao Sandy Sephora location 614 Calabasas called security to make sure I wasn’t stealing . We had a long talk. U have a blessed day Sandy”

She added:

“Can a bitch cop her fenty in peace er whut”

After the alleged incident, Sephora’s social media account reached out to the artist, writing:

“Hi, SZA. We’re sorry to hear about your experience at our Calabasas store and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We want to let you know we take complaints like this very seriously and are actively working with our teams to address the situation immediately.”
