Manson Family Killer Leslie Van Houten's Parole Hopes Have Been DENIED!

This is probably a good idea.
Even though a parole board recommendation came down to let Manson Family member Leslie Van Houten free after decades in prison, California Governor Jerry Brown has flatly denied the request, citing her unbelievable cruelty so many years ago.

On Friday, after the California Parole Board determined that the 66-year-old was fit for release thanks to decades of being a good role model in prison, Gov. Brown flatly denied the suggestion, saying:

“Both her role in these extraordinarily brutal crimes and her inability to explain her willing participation in such horrific violence cannot be overlooked and lead me to believe she remains an unacceptable risk to society if released.”

Those crimes, of course, were the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in the summer of 1969, when a group including Van Houten and led by Charles Manson killed multiple people around Los Angeles in the hopes of starting a race war.

The murder victims included actress Sharon Tate, as well as Rosemary LaBianca, who Van Houten personally stabbed more than a dozen times.
Good for Gov. Brown on this one
