Good news for Lethal Weapon fans — it’s all set to come back for a third season on Fox… but there’s going to be one major change to the lineup!
According to media reports, Seann William Scott — yes, THAT Seann William Scott — will replace Clayne Crawford as Damon Wayans‘ co-star in the series beginning when season three returns later this year!

Crawford was dismissed from the series after a repeated showing of what execs and producers characterized as “repeated instances of emotional abuse of cast and crew members,” that dated back several months.
The actor apologized publicly last month via his Instagram account, but it wasn’t enough to keep his job on Lethal Weapon.
Warner Bros. said in a statement about their decision to move on from Crawford (below):
“Warner Bros. Television has decided not to renew Clayne Crawford’s contract for Lethal Weapon.”
Pretty straightforward! LOLz!
At least it seems like Crawford is more or less taking things in stride (below):
