Kim Kardashian‘s romance with Lewis Hamilton might be heating up, but she isn’t getting such a warm welcome from the paddock!
It’s no secret that the model’s entrance into the world of F1 has gotten off to a rocky start. Her whole towel fiasco was embarrassing enough to never want to return to a race track again, though she bounced back well. While teams and drivers have been able to look past her faux pas, other F1 wives and girlfriends aren’t able to offer her the same grace!

Sources told Radar Online on Tuesday that the SKIMS founder is getting iced out by the other WAGs! Folks, apparently, just aren’t into the relationship. Even the driver’s own Ferrari team is worried about it. Despite a recent Grand Prix win and more success as of late, they fear the worst:
“This is a crucial period for Lewis’ career. He’s doing pretty well right now and his team is anxious to keep the momentum.”
While the 41-year-old would likely credit the reality star for helping him get his mojo back, not everyone agrees. Many think Kimmy Kakes is a big distraction! The insider went on:
“He’s proud to have Kim cheering him on, but she’s not mixing well with the other WAGs [wives and girlfriends]. They find her snooty and fake, plus there’s a lot of talk that his head’s elsewhere when she’s around, and it’s a worrisome distraction.”
Oof.
Lewis is now forced to defend his relationship, which, you could argue, is a bigger distraction:
“He’s brushing it off, saying people are just acting jealous, and anyone who wants to question his private life has no place in his entourage. He’s also telling Kim that she’s his good luck charm and she’s welcome to bring more of her family along next time.”
Aw! Sweet!
Kim, similarly, isn’t bothered by the cold shoulder she’s received from many:
“The guy is so smitten. He’d walk through fire for Kim right now, and anyone who wants to pour water on their happiness can go to hell as far as he’s concerned. And Kim’s loving this new environment — even if people are out to get her.”
At least they’re both doing their best to ignore the drama! It certainly doesn’t sound like it’s impacting their romance. Frankly, based on how serious they’re getting, everyone else better get on board fast, because this relationship could be here for the long haul!
