Sorry, Oasis Fans!

Sorry, Oasis Fans!

If you were in any way hoping that you might hear a verse of Wonderwall while Liam Gallagher goes on tour with his new band, Beady Eye, you are in for some heartache.
Liam consented to an interview along with bandmates about their upcoming gigs and right off the bat, he wanted to make sure everyone knew he wouldn’t be performing any of hits from when he was in Oasis. The interviewer asked him how he thought the fans would react to this news and, unsurprisingly enough, he doesn’t care. He told sources:

“To be quite honest, it’s none of our business how they react. They should know by now that we’re not f—ing d—heads and we’re not uncool. It would be absolutely ridiculous to play Oasis songs and then Beady Eye songs. It would be schizophrenic. Or phrenic. Or phonic. They won’t want to hear Oasis songs by the time we finish with them.”

A pretty steep promise there, Liam. We think you underestimate the loyalty of your Oasis fans. It’s been how many years and still there those who pray and wish you and your brother will sort things out for a reunion.
But we get it – you want to move on. Nothing wrong with that. More than a few people are going to be disappointed though, we can tell you that.
