It sounds like Liam Hemsworth is hoping to have the last laugh after finally ending his tumultuous marriage to Miley Cyrus!
As we reported, the Killerman star started dating 22-year-old actress Maddison Brown two months after he and Miles announced their split. While his ex has moved on to a PDA-filled romance with Cody Simpson in the time since then, sources close to the 29-year-old Aussie actor say he’s making an effort to keep things much more low-key with his new flame.

Although their relationship is still relatively fresh, an insider who spoke to RadarOnline.com said Liam and his lady actively pencil quality time together into their respective schedules:
“They’re working apart most of the time, but when they have a second to meet up in New York or Toronto, they love nothing more than cooking and sharing a glass of wine.”
Apparently, the pair’s Netflix-and-chill vibe is exactly what Hemsworth has been missing while dealing with his soon-to-be ex-wife’s antics all of these years:
“Liam can’t believe he’s missed on the calm, easy feeling of a normal relationship after all this time, and it’s exactly what he’s been pining for.”
Ouch!! That’s a pretty big burn right there.
But, didn’t we just catch Liam and Maddison strolling through the streets of New York City together — and making out during a dinner date just a day later — last month in October? Not exactly as private as they claim to be, huh?
Well, as it turns out, Chris Hemsworth‘s younger brother wasn’t too thrilled about the paps getting in his business. The insider added:
“He was pretty annoyed when pics surfaced of them making out in New York. So now they’re keeping it all behind closed doors – and laughing at Miley’s immature attention-seeking in the process.”
Sheesh! Tell us how you really feel. Ha!
The Radar source continued, spilling more about how the Hunger Games star is handling Miley’s recent moves:
“He’s just rolling his eyes and washing his hands of her, even as a friend, which of course is driving Miley nuts.”
The confidant also claimed this breakup is the real deal and Hemsworth is well on his way to moving on for good:
“She thought somehow they would find their way back to each other and she was holding on to that, but then Liam unfollowed her and that was his way of saying it’s really done. Yeah, Liam is not turning back.”
