Sniff sniff!
Can’t you alt-rock British lads get beyond your fuming hatred and just do like… a handful of Oasis reunion gigs?
It seems those rowdy brothers and former Oasis members Noel & Liam Gallagher are SO adamant about not being associated with the legendary band that they refuse to play at festivals together, unless they can perform on separate nights!
Noel, who now fronts Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, recently expressed his views on potentially playing at the same venue with his bro:
“I don’t think either camp would allow it. What happens if we’re on the same bill? People start asking if we’re reforming, that’s what. Or they’ll ask if we’re going to get on stage together and sing (Oasis track) Digsy’s f**king Dinner. I don’t need that and I doubt he does either. I’d rather avoid it altogether, thank you.”
That’s one passionate response!
Liam also has a new musical venture in the form of Beady Eye, so he’s probably not raring to get back on that bucking Oasis horse, anyway.
Ah well, we guess we shall have to make do with the infinite Wonderwall covers and all our old, scratched Oasis CDs…
Sigh.
