Roger Nores has officially been cleared in the case of Liam Payne‘s tragic death.
As you know, the former One Direction singer’s good friend and Argentinian businessman was originally charged with his passing, but those charges were later dropped. He was even going to sue Liam’s dad Geoff for defamation, but ended up dropping that lawsuit. Now, Roger has been completely cleared in the case, according to TMZ.

Judges agreed with what his attorney said in the case — essentially that Roger was not Liam’s caretaker and did everything he could to save him at the time. So he’s officially been cleared in the legal system, but investigators aren’t done with the case yet.
The two men accused of supplying Liam with drugs are still under investigation as the case proceeds. According to the New York Post, prosecutors are investigating evidence from the men’s electronic devices. There’s also reports of a potential plea deal being discussed.
