Liam Payne is adjusting to his new life as a solo artist AND a dad!
While appearing at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards on Tuesday night, the 23-year-old gushed about his baby momma Cheryl before taking the stage to make a dig at former band mate Zayn Malik while presenting James Corden with the award for Man Of The Year.

Gracing the red carpet, the singer called his girlfriend “the best mum in the world,” as she’s already gotten their 11-week-old son, Bear, on a sleeping pattern:
“[Cheryl’s] got him in a sleeping pattern already, we’re getting seven hours of sleep a night. Everyone’s saying have you not slept much and I don’t want to say because I’m out partying.”
Whoa, seven hours?! Jealous!
As for being back in town after traveling to promote his new single, Liam said:
“It’s been great being home because I’m back for bath time. It’s great to spend time with my son and my missus.”

Later in the evening, Liam gave an actually-quite-pleasant speech introducing the sixth One Direction member, James Corden, during which he made fun of Zayn’s exit from the band.
While talking about the TV host’s high school band, Liam quipped:
“[1D] never had a slogan but if we had, Zayn might have stayed.”
Boom!
