With One Direction having literally just finished things up before their hiatus, Liam Payne is already linked to a solo project — but it’s been some ten months in the making!

Juicy J, one of the founding members of Three 6 Mafia, teased on Twitter yesterday that he and the British boy band star were close to dropping some music together:
Word from earlier this year is that the two worked on seven different tracks together — which means a lot of time in the studio!
Juicy J showed as much in an Instagram post from ten months ago when it went down (below):
And now considering that tweet, maybe we are close to hearing their finished product!

It’s an interesting collaboration but it’s not so far out there — remember, Juicy J did make up half of Dark Horse along side Katy Perry in 2014…
