Zayn Malik proved that bowing out of the biggest boy band in the world could be profitable when his debut single Pillowtalk went No. 1 on the charts… and now the rest of One Direction is following his lead.
But while Niall Horan‘s attempt at a solo career with This Town wasn’t quite as popular — by any means whatsoever — Liam Payne clearly thinks going third is best!

The 23-year-old first sparked songwriting rumors on Tuesday when he let Directioners know he was back in the States in an Instagram post, writing:
“Good to be back in LA …writing trip two wish me luck ├░┼╕ΓÇí┬║├░┼╕ΓÇí┬╕├░┼╕┼╜┬╝├░┼╕┼╜┬¼”
Wait. When was writing trip one?!
Regardless, Liam REALLY drove 1D fans wild less than 24 hours later on Wednesday when he subtly suggested a supposed title for his first single, simply saying:

Only time will tell if this is actually the name of the song and not just some crappy California graffiti — but until then…
