Liam Payne Breaks Up With Sophia Smith, His Girlfriend Of Two Years

Lots of changes are coming for Liam Payne!
The One Direction star, who’s also starting to work on his own side projects, just broke up with his girlfriend of two years, according to reports.

Payne and Sophia Smith apparently called it quits on Saturday, with sources telling DailyMail.com:

“Liam and Sophia have split. Liam is incredibly sad, but is going to keep busy. He really hopes that everybody will respect both his and Sophia’s privacy and stop speculating.”

Liam and Sophia — who had been friends since their days together in school, and began dating in 2013 — seemed to be going strong with an established history.
But alas, that is not the case. Liam recently tweeted, perhaps alluding to the breakup a few days before it was reported:
