Liam Payne‘s life has changed drastically since having a kid.
The One Direction alum made that fact abundantly clear when he stopped by The Kyle and Jackie Show on Friday to promote his new single, Strip That Down. In case you forgot, Payne and his GF Cheryl welcomed their son, named Bear, back in March.

On his new role as a proud poppa, the former boy bander noted:
“When he was first born, I had never even changed a nappy. I never had any younger siblings or people to change nappies on… It’s not something I would partake as a hobby. I don’t know if I’m speaking on behalf of other dads but you work on your feet because you have to, it’s your responsibility.”
We’re guessing Liam isn’t loving diaper duty. LOLz!
Nonetheless, the 23-year-old is clearly smitten with his little one as he added:
“The moment that little boy or girl looks in your eyes, your life is changed forever…”
We’re not crying, you are!! However, as the men from the X Factor formed boy band are now moving in VVV different directions, fans are wondering if a 1D reunion will ever happen.
Unfortunately for Directioners, Payne seems to be enjoying the group’s hiatus quite a bit. The Drag Me Down artist noted:
“We hadn’t taken any time out and we needed that, and I’m so glad I did ’cause now I have little baby Bear. I think that’s the most important bit about this time now is taking control of your own destiny and doing what you wish to do rather than as a group of five.”
Uh oh, that doesn’t sound promising. But don’t freak out yet, folks, as Niall Horan says he’d like to do a reunion within “the next few years.” Phew!
