We mentioned earlier that Anne Hathaway‘s shady ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri was just arrested for fraud.
Among many crazy things, he claimed to be the CFO of the Vatican!
Well, according to a new U.S. Attorney’s Office press release, Follieri could go to prison for life.
Here’s a full run down of the charges against Follieri:
– Six counts of wire fraud and each count carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
– Five counts of money laundering and each count also carries a max of 20 years in jail.
– One count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, which carries a maximum penalty of 5 years behind bars.
We hope Anne won’t get dragged into any of the court drama!
But, we’re hearing she already HAS!
An insider tells us it’s 99% likely that Hathaway’s already been interviewed by the FBI.
