Lifetime, of all channels, has decided to throw their hat in the ring, confirming that they have begun production on a Russian-American centric reality series based in the Brooklyn neighborhood Brighton Beach.
The only real difference between what you see in Seaside Heights and what you’ll see in Brighton Beach is the demographic. (And we don’t mean the change from Italian stallions to Russian Rudolfs)
Brighton Beach will have a more multi-generational cast in order to appeal to the more, eh, mature audience of Lifetime.
We always thought Snooki’s shenanigans broke these kinds of boundaries, but apparently not!
