By the time he finally steps inside a jail cell, it will be time for him to come back out again. We might as well just forget all about it!
For the the third time since his conviction, Lil’ Wayne has sidestepped going to jail. His check-in date to start serving his sentence has been pushed back until Monday, due to the fire at the courthouse.
As you recall, SOMEHOW the courthouse handling Lil’ Wayne’s case went up in smoke yesterday when a fire started in the basement. His hearing was pushed back to today, but due to the damage of the facility, a judge ruled that Lil’ Wayne would have to wait till Monday so they could finish repairing the courthouse.
So now, we’ll just sit here and wait for Monday to roll on in and see what happens. Personally, we’ve got money on the entire Isle of Manhattan getting snowed in with 12 feet of snow on Monday morning, delaying the hearing until they can get it cleared. Then, once the snow starts to melt, it will flood the courthouse, requiring more repairs and another delay. Then, a meteor is going to hit the courthouse and completely obliterate it and Lil’ Wayne will have to wait until they build a new one before he gets his sentencing.
This is all instead of just sending him to ANOTHER courthouse!
