
It’s been a tough few hours for Lil Wayne.
The rapper hinted at retirement in a series of tweets on Saturday after police were called to his home in Miami amid what appears to be a hoax emergency called in by somebody else.

The rapper, who had earlier tweeted positive messages to the Miami Police Department, came back on Twitter early Saturday morning with the following message (below):
I AM NOW DEFENSELESS AND mentally DEFEATED & I leave gracefully and thankful I luh my fanz but I’m dun

Whoa — WTF??
It’s unclear what has made Weezy defenseless or mentally defeated but that’s a super serious remark to make in passing like that.

About three hours later, he continued (below):

And about six hours ago, he wrapped up his tweet stream with a calming message that maybe walked back a little of what he started:

No word after that from the rapper, but obviously, you can imagine how seriously all of his fans took this — even other musicians have been coming out all morning, pleading with Weezy not to retire (below):
