This is definitely not Lil Xan‘s finest moment…
The rapper is now being investigated by the LAPD after allegedly pulling a gun on a man during an altercation in a 7-Eleven parking lot near downtown El Lay on Friday night. Reportedly, Xan got worked up during an argument about the rapper Tupac.

It all started just before 10:00 p.m. local time in Los Angeles on Friday night, when Xan was approached by a guy asking him why the rapper had previously called Tupac’s music “boring.” As you’ll recall, Lil Xan did have some not-so-nice things to say about Tupac back in March of 2018, and it caused him a TON of controversy at the time.
Well, the man here apparently wanted to re-litigate the discussion again, and Xan wasn’t having it — after some sort of back-and-forth, video shows that Xan pretty much flew off the handle, whipping out a handgun and pointing it at the man.
Xan, who was there with his girlfriend Annie Smith, according to TMZ, can be seen brandishing the handgun multiple times in the video — which is, uh, not such a smart move. (BTW, you can watch a clip of the altercation itself right HERE.)
Clearly, the young rapper is not so happy about still being linked with his infamous (and infamously stupid) Tupac comment — but, uh, whipping out a gun and pointing it at somebody who calls you out about it definitely is not the best way to handle things.
As for the aftermath, Xan took to his Instagram page to try to make his case by alleging he was going to be attacked at that gas station!

The rapper posted a message to his fans hoping to clarify the ugly situation and at least try to tell his side of the story just hours after the incident (below):
It’s quite the thing for the 22-year-old to call himself a “kid” who the media is “picking on” just hours after quite literally pulling a gun out and threatening another adult with it — and getting caught on video doing exactly that! — but we digress…
The LAPD has apparently seen the video of the incident, too, and detectives are now investigating what went down. No word yet from Xan’s team on anything further this morning, but we’ll let you know if something changes soon.
