Lily Cole Wants To Be An Actor

Despite being a fashion industry darling, top model Lily Cole is trying to make the switch to an acting career.

The twenty-one year old face of Rimmel recently said,

“I’d like to act and not really model so much. I wouldn’t want to treat acting as a convenient thing to do now and again. I’ve been doing modeling for years and I feel like I’ve taken out of it what I need to and I’m ready for new things.”

The redheaded beauty makes her acting debut in the flick St. Trinian’s, has a role in the buzz film The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus, and is currently working on Phatasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll and There Be Dragons.

That’s quite the transitional roster! She’s not exactly doing fluff work. Lily went on to say, “I’ve really enjoyed the process of acting and I’d be more inclined to dedicate my time to that.”

Seems like she’s got the acting chops to support her decision to switch gears. Can’t wait to check her out!
