Hell hath NOOOOOO fury like a baby momma scorned – especially when the daddy is LOADED!
Case in point, the raging child support battle between Linda Evangelista and her VERY RICH baby daddy, PPR’s CEO Francois-Henri Pinault.
Let us refresh you on the DRAMZ!
As we mentioned back in August, the $upermodel wants Pinault to pay up $46,000 A MONTH in child support for their 5 year-old son, Augustin James Evangelista.
And now, the two will be facing off in a Manhattan family courtroom TODAY!
The model will be pleading her case with a little help from pitbull attorney, William Beslow who’s handled similar cases for Christie Brinkley & Marla Maples.
Linda is claiming she simply wants to afford herself her son the same lifestyle as Pinault’s daughter with Salma Hayek, Valentina, who lives in a $13 million dollar crib.
But prominent divorce attorney Raoul Felder warns that she’s cray cray for even THINKING of getting such a large child support sum because they were never married.
He says:
“It’s the triumph of illusion over reality. That’s all this is, a fairy tale. If she were married to him, that’s a whole other story.”
COOOOOOOLD!
The model mommy maintains that Francois-Henri hasn├óΓé¼Γäót paid a cent in child support, with the exception of providing health care and education since August. But, don├óΓé¼Γäót feel too sorry for Evangelista just yet…
Pinault maintains that he’s doing EVERYTHING he can to be there for the child who, under French law, will someday inherit one-quarter of his rich dad’s estate. He says:
“At every possible opportunity he has participated in my family life whether in France or the United States. He is totally integrated within my family.”
Oh, and if you’re wondering just how rich Mr. Hayek is… his family is reportedly worth a whopping $11.5 BILLION. If he loses this case and is ordered to pay out $46K a month, it will be the highest payout for child care in history.
Either way you slice it, we have a feeling that she’ll be just fine!
The trial is said to last about four days, so guess we’ll just have to wait to find out!
