If the statement from Patrick Clancy‘s attorney won’t convince you, maybe Lindsay‘s will.
Those following the controversial Clancy case know there have been conspiracy theories plaguing Lindsay’s ex-husband Patrick.
Throughout the trial internet sleuths became convinced he had something to do with the murder of their three children. The frenzy behind this belief became so bad that on Tuesday Patrick’s own attorney finally had to threaten legal action, saying in a statement “enough is enough” and letting everyone know “there will be consequences”.
And now Lindsay’s own lawyer is doing what he can to stop the rumors.

Kevin Reddington went on CBS Mornings on Wednesday to discuss the trial, and when asked his thoughts on all the online detective work, he said firmly:
“I have repeatedly said listen to the 911 call.”
He’s then reminded that the public has not been able to hear it, to which he replies:
“I understand that the judge made that ruling, but I have said repeatedly the gut-wrenching horror that that is in his voice. No actor in California could ever imitate that.”
Going on to defend the 38-year-old Microsoft executive, he says:
“It’s obvious that Patrick is a man who stood by his wife through all of the difficulty of the medical issues, the psychiatric issues, the pharmaceutical issues, and even up to the time of the trial and even afterwards. A man ought to be able to move on with his life. Stop with the speculations and horrific conspiracy allegations that he was involved with some massive conspiracy to kill his children. … I just think that it’s horrific what this man has been going through, and he’s entitled to move on with his life. And the fact that he’s moved on with his life and still is standing by Lindsay, as far as the legal issues tells the tale.”
