The Tale Of Lindsay Lohan: Five Years In On Her Ten Year Plan

My how time does fly!
Five years ago, there was a very different Lindsay Lohan in our lives.
Five years ago, Lindsay had just come off of the success of Mean Girls and was making the rounds promoting her latest (and subsequently last) Disney flick, Herbie Fully Loaded. The buzz around LiLo was that she was about to start a movie with the legendary Jane Fonda, as well as take a role in the A-List collaborative piece, Bobby and an indie with Meryl Streep. Lindsay had her whole life in front of her and while her second album failed to impress and the “paparazzi” caused LiLo to get into two “accidents,” everyone was still convinced this was the start of Lindsay’s rise to superstardom.
Five years ago, on this very day, at the tender age of 20, she was asked where she saw herself in 10 years. She told In Style Magazine about her plan, saying:

“I want to get married before I’m 30. And have my house. And make the kind of record I want. And I’d like to win an Oscar before then.”

Alright, well … Let’s see how well she is doing five years into the plan:
Not married, but she still has time for that. Surely any guy – or gal – would be lucky to have her.
She has her house, which we spent quiet a lot of time in recently when she was ordered to go under house arrest for failing a random drug test, which was part of her longstanding probation, which was just revoked yesterday.
She has a lot of records, if you count criminal records. By our count, she’s been in and out of jail more times than any other starlet her age and we’re pretty sure she holds some kind of record for having the most glamorous mug shots!
But as for that Oscar, well, that might be a tough one. She could at least get nominated if she finally finalized her deal to star in the Gotti movie…but that will be hard for her to do behind bars, where she is most likely to be come November 2nd.
So, she hasn’t been doing THAT WELL with keeping to her goals.
On the positive side though, she’s still got five more years to get all this done. Well … four, if she goes to prison in a month!
Make them count, girl!
