Lindsay Lohan might be trying to convince the world that she does NOT have an issue with substance abuse, despite the fact that she has been ordered to attend rehab for alleged drinking and prescription pill problems…
But one longtime friend of the chaos-attracting starlet is NOT fooled, AND he believes that if Lilo attends this year’s Coachella music festival she will NOT be able to practice self-control and will surely succumb to the plethora of drugs and alcohol available (especially to VIPs).
Claus Hjelmbak, a Danish celeb promoter and apparent friend (or former friend) of Lindsay’s, recently came forward to express his concern, stating:
“Lindsay is in a very dark place right now, and I├óΓé¼Γäóm absolutely scared for her life. Coachella is the last place she needs to be. For someone struggling with addiction, like Lindsay, the amount of drugs and alcohol at Coachella is just a recipe for disaster waiting to happen. I know because I have been to the VIP tent at Coachella in the past. Lindsay can turn it around, but she has to look deep inside herself and get the help she needs.
The people associated with Lindsay right now are a very bad influence on her. They are only using her because they love to be around a celebrity. Lindsay needs to cut off ties with these losers because they are bringing her down. I may have had my differences with her father, Michael, but at least he is trying to do something to help her. Lindsay’s father is the only person trying desperately to help his daughter, he gets it.
I wish Lindsay would go to rehab right now, and not wait until the last possible moment. I want Lindsay to know I├óΓé¼Γäóm here for her, and that I just want her to get help before it├óΓé¼Γäós too late.”
Sounds fair!
And while Coachella SHOULD be about coming together as humans under a common appreciation for live music and good times, many of those good times DO include various types of illegal, potentially harmful, substances.
And of course, Lindsay made SURE that she would not be required to attend any sort of rehab (or jail) BEFORE the festival, which kicks off April 12…

Linds refused to sign off on any deal that would have prevented her from going to Coachella. It├óΓé¼Γäós that important to her, for some strange reason.”
But hey, it’s just cause girl REALLY likes music you guys!
And perhaps she’s hoping to pick up a new manfriend, seeing as the brief relationship with her latest boyfriend-in-a-band is reportedly OVER.
In all seriousness, we tend to agree with Mr.Hjelmbak.
Why would someone, who has been ORDERED to go to a treatment center for her issues, insert herself into a situation that will almost surely contain temptation?
Nothing good can come of this…
