Lindsay Lohan is back on the film scene and ready to make some movie magic again!
On Monday, the 29-year-old took to Instagram to announce that she’s officially started working on a new movie, titled The Shadow Within!

She shared this sweet snap (above), and even teased that a first look at her character would be revealed within the next few days, writing in the caption:
“My first day on my new film!!!! Will be sending a sneak peak of my character this week ├░┼╕ΓÇÖΓÇ╣ #theshadowwithin”
In the past couple years, she’d really only done guest spots on TV shows like 2 Broke Girls, tried her hand at stage work in David Mamet‘s Speed-the-Plow, and shot a short called Till Human Voices Wake Us.
This new project marks the first full-length film she’s done since The Canyons two years ago.
The starlet had faded out of the acting game for a while after being arrested multiple times, checking in to rehab, and being placed on probation.
It’ll be interesting to see if her new endeavor will be a success, or if it’ll flop like her Elizabeth Taylor biopic Liz & Dick, which was her most recent attempt at a comeback!
