Lionel Richie has an update for fans after his health scare.
ICYMI, the 77-year-old had a scary opening night on the Sing A Song All Night Long Tour. He was supposed to be performing alongside Earth, Wind, & Fire for the upcoming US dates on their joint tour, but during his performance in Saint Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday night things didn’t go to plan. He seemed to be struggling to get through his performance of Dancing on the Ceiling, and then eventually he had to stop altogether. So scary!
Now fans are getting an update. According to a statement from Live Nation Chicago, Lionel is postponing his next two shows:
“Under advisement by doctors to rest and return to full health, Lionel Richie has postponed his next two shows on Friday, June 26 in Chicago, IL and Saturday, June 27 in Columbus, OH. He and Earth, Wind & Fire will return to the stage on Tuesday, June 30 in Pittsburgh, PA.”
