Oh no, we hope he’s okay!
Lionel Richie is currently hospitalized in the ICU at a St. Louis hospital, per TMZ.
The outlet reported on Monday that the 77-year-old singer chose to check himself in after his Saturday night show in The Gateway City.
Tests are being run, and right now it’s looking like he might get discharged on Tuesday — that it may just be dehydration issues. Of course, even if it is just dehydration, that’s definitely something to get checked out as problems with that can go south FAST.
TMZ notes audience members felt he was struggling toward the end of his performance, even needing to sit down at one point to finish a song. And seeing as how he had a similar health scare back in June, we totally understand the need to play it safe!
