What?! No more Cuddy??
Who will take place of Dr. House‘s ultimate foil, regardless of their past relationships??
This is quite the shocker, but, Lisa Edelstein fees like after 7 years that it’s time to move on. We can’t really blame her, that’s a long time to be playing one role!
Here’s what she said:
“After much consideration, I am moving onward with a combination of disappointment at leaving behind a character I have loved playing for seven years and excitement of the new opportunities in acting and producing that lie ahead.”
This comes as a disappointment to fans who have loved her special kind of interaction with House, and it shocks many because it looked like she’d come back for the 8th season, which is likely to be the show’s last.
So, that begs the question: Why not just do another year and finish it out with the rest of the cast?
We’re sure she has her more personal reasons, but fans of the show would have loved her to be included in the series finale. Who knows, maybe she’ll make an appearance just for that episode.
We can dream!
