Welcome to your new home Michael Strahan!
The very first episode of Live! With Kelly And Michael premiered Tuesday… and Kelly’s new man did NOT disappoint!
The NFL sweetie-pie turned-daytime talk show gabber couldn’t wait to share his excitement to those viewing the newly re-named show. After being presented with a bouquet of roses Kelly, Michael gushed:
“I am so happy to be here and be a part of this. You know how they say it’s a dream come true? I truly can’t say I even dreamed this.”
Awwwww!
Clearly the he wasn’t the only one excited about the big man’s permanent hosting gig!
Ratings were up 24% from last season’s premiere (when Regis Philbin was still around), and scored an impressive 3.9 household rating/13 share in the metered markets.
That’s the second highest rating since Regie left the show!
Way to go Michael, you handsome piece of ratings gold you!
