People need to stop worrying about Liza Minnelli!
As you may know, Judy Garland‘s daughter has been laying relatively low these days but sparked concern when she decided to place her vast Andy Warhol collection on the market for $40 million. Oh man.

One of Miz Minnelli’s spokespeople has since staunchly denied these rumors by saying the Oscar winner was “absolutely not” in financial trouble. They noted:
“Like any art collector Liza has always looked for opportunities to buy and sell.”
Of course, we can’t entirely blame people for suspecting trouble since it’s said the 70-year-old’s on sale collection includes portraits of herself, her famous mother, and father. In fact, Liza was close friends with Warhol himself — so one might wonder why she would want to part with such sentimental works?
Still, it appears Liza is doing just fine as she just surprised fans with a performance alongside Michael Feinstein at Joe’s Pub in NYC last week. In even better news, the A-lister loved being back on stage so much, she demanded her people set up more gigs for her.
The icon’s rep Scott Gorenstein dished:
“Liza loved being on stage again, and contrary to reports is feeling fine. She’s instructed her reps to set up appearances later in the year… This is the first time she’s sang in public since October 2015 when she was the inaugural performer (and took a memorable Uber ride) at Cape Fear Community College‘s new Humanities & Fine Arts Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.”
Perhaps Minnelli is just looking to start fresh after her stint in rehab last year? Nonetheless, we’re more than happy to see Liza back in action!
