Lizzo SLAMS Body-Shaming Double Standard For Men: 'We Don't Talk About Your D**k Sizes!'

Lizzo‘s had enough of the fatphobic and misogynistic comments that constantly get thrown her way.

As you’re likely already aware, the 31-year-old singer is known for unapologetically celebrating her fuller figure and encouraging fans to love themselves in her music. During a candid new interview with Brazil’s TV Folha, the starlet shared her unfiltered thoughts on body-shaming and the double standard that exists for men on the topic!

The Truth Hurts artist explained that throughout history, women in positions of power have always faced scrutiny for how they look. As she and the interviewer discussed the concept of “conventional” beauty, Lizzo went on to say men aren’t judged by the same ridiculous physical beauty standards that women are expected to meet:

“What does that tell you about the oppressor? What does that tell you about men? Get it together, we don’t talk about your d**k sizes, do we? Like, ‘that’s not a conventional d**k size, it’s too small.’ We still let ya’ll asses run all over the goddamn place.”

She continued from there, comparing herself to other strong female role models who came before her:

“I don’t think I’m any different than any of the other great women who’ve come before me that had to literally be politicized just to be sexual…you know what I mean? Just to exist.”

The Hustlers actress went on to say she wouldn’t be able to do what she does — including taking the world by storm during her breakout year with memorable performances left and right — without their efforts:

“Things that were beautiful on them were called flaws, and they persisted against that, fought against that, and now I’m able to do what I do because of those great women.”

Despite all of the negative comments thrown her way, including a particularly pointed jab from Jillian Michaels, Lizzo continues to shine! As we reported, the 45-year-old fitness expert questioned the public for celebrating the entertainer’s body because according to her, “it isn’t gonna be awesome if she gets diabetes.”

The talented artist didn’t let that noise get her down and seemed to quiet her haters when she won big at the 2020 Grammys recently. In her first year of being nominated at the awards show, Lizzo won trophies for Best Urban Contemporary Album (Cuz I Love You), Best Pop Solo Performance (Truth Hurts), and Best Traditional R&B Performance (Jerome). Oh, and we can’t forget how she rocked the stage that night, too!

As she explained in the TV Folha interview, Lizzo is committed to showing that people can wear whatever they want whatever their size. She’s been proving it with her super sexy outfits lately, too!
