As is so often the case in ultra-hyped concert festivals like Coachella and this past weekend’s Lollapalooza, being seen is more important than being heard!
There was a slew of hip and talented bands in Chicago this weekend but the real story — besides cancellations due to inclement weather — was the big names who traveled across the country to catch the tubular tunes!
Breaking Bad’s lovable Aaron Paul (above) must be moonlighting as a photographer because onlookers spotted him EVERYWHERE doing his best Annie Leibovitz impersonation with his portable but stylish HTC One — man, where can we get us one of those bad boys?
Elsewhere, rock-hard Joe Manganiello and playmate Jenny McCarthy were spotted having dinner at two different fancy restaurants on site.
Mmmm. The sight of them at the booth next to us sounds far more mouthwatering than any entree we could order!!
Jenny was one of several celebrities who attended some of the swanky parties just to stay out of the storm!
She and rapper B.o.B. both sought shelter from Mother Nature in the Samsung Galaxy party (below)!!
JoeMan was there for more than ambiance, too. He actually wanted to hear the music, LOLz!!

We aren’t sure whether dreamboat Dave Franco and his supposed girlfriend Alison Brie of Community caught any live music, but they partied up a storm at Studio Paris.
Other humongous names included actress Rose McGowan and legendary comedic genius Dave Chappelle who caught Talib Kweli’s amazeballs set on Friday!
Kelly Osbourne was E! fashion correspondent for the weekend so it probably wouldn’t surprise you to learn her attire (below) was a bit atypical!
Sounds like Chicago really was the place to be this past weekend, we wish we could’ve been there to soak up all the amazeballs music sweet celeb action!!
