Lorde’s mom, Sonja Yelich, like any proud mum, has kept lots of pics of her baby girl as, well, a baby girl.

Sonja took to Instagram to share a pic of Lorde from when she was about 9 or 10 as she grips a mic shyly and stares down the camera!
But the reminiscing didn’t stop there as she also regrammed a photo of the Kiwi superstar and her sister Jerry Yelich-O’Connor, who is also a singer/songwriter, when they were just babies!
