Taylor Swift has made a wise choice to have Lorde on her side…
Because the Royals singer will defend her friend against shizz-stirrers to the death!
The Grammy-winning songstress was interviewed by The Kyle & Jackie Show on Australia’s KIIS 1065 today and got extremely defensive when asked about her blooming friendship with Swifty.
DJ Kyle Sandilands asked the 17-year-old about their relationship in the most cringe-worthy way possible, including lesbian undertones – and even bringing Ellen DeGeneres into the mix:
“Are you bringing your new bestie, Taylor Swift? I see your guys’ pictures everywhere. Are you guys, like, uh, are you together now? Not together as in lesbians├óΓé¼┬ªI’m not talking about ‘Ellen together.’ I’m talking about, like, you guys are friendly right?”
Lorde fired back at the weird comments, questioning Kyle’s views on same-sex couples:
“What do you mean you’re not talking about ‘Ellen together?’ Is there something wrong with lesbians? Is that what you’re trying to say?”
Still prepared to egg the performer on, Kyle responded:
“Oh my god, no, I would love that. Are you going to confirm now that you’re in a lesbian relationship with her?”
And Lorde, obviously unenthused, responded:
“Don’t ever try it. It’s not working.”
