What a tragic end.
On Monday, Lou Pearlman‘s cause of death was revealed after the news of his passing made headlines over the weekend. He was 62-years-old.

As you may recall, there were mixed emotions regarding the controversial music mogul’s death as he not only founded bands, like *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys, but he was also convicted of fraud and sentenced to 25 years in prison back in 2008 for his part in a massive Ponzi scheme! Oof.
Nonetheless, it looks like an ongoing cardiac problem was Lou’s ultimate undoing. According to TMZ, Pearlman was transferred from prison to a Miami hospital to undergo a previously scheduled heart surgery and died before he could have the procedure. So sad!
Reportedly, natural causes is what is being listed as Lou’s official C.O.D.
