Are crowds actually warming up to Louis C.K.??
The disgraced comedian once again graced the stage at New York City’s Comedy Cellar for a surprise set late Sunday night. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he was met with a “warm greeting” from audience members — at least the ones who stayed to watch.

The outlet reports that two patrons left the comedy club once the admitted serial masturbator took the stage, taking advantage of the Cellar’s new refund policy.
After receiving backlash for C.K.’s surprise appearance in August, each Comedy Cellar show ticket now includes the disclaimer:
“If an unannounced appearance is not your cup of tea, you are free to leave (unobtrusively please) no questions asked, your check on the house.”
That’s just what a couple attendees did Sunday night, an onlooker told THR. The source revealed the two audience members “left politely” while the rest of the crowd was “very enthusiastic” to hear new material from the comedian.

While the 51-year-old didn’t address his #MeToo controversy, the source noted that his set was “better all-around” this time and the reception was “more enthusiastic” — but at least one attendee thought otherwise.
In a since deleted tweet, one apparent comedy club-goer wrote:
“I saw Louis CK at the Comedy Cellar last night, and I’m happy to report that his new material is just as bad as the old.”
C.K.’s material is notoriously sex-focused, so it’ll be interesting to see how long he gets away with not acknowledging the elephant he masturbated in front of backstage.
