Jessica Batten — you know, the Love Is Blind star who couldn’t get over the fact that she’d matched with a man ten years younger on the show — has found herself a new boyfriend after failing to go forward with marriage on the hit Netflix special!
And the best part is… this guy is the perfect age for her! Ha!!!

The now-35-year-old Batten debuted her new man, Dr. Benjamin McGrath, in a celebratory post over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. She showed him off to the world while sharing her gratitude for being “able to follow my heart and choose my own happiness,” which is great!!!
And as you can see (below), Dr. McGrath is a hunk:
McGrath? More like McSteamy! Or McDreamy! S**t, it should be one of the two because DAYUM!!! Of course, the most important question for anybody who has seen Love Is Blind is the age-related one: is McGrath 34 or is he 24?!
Funny enough, Jessica already answered that query down in the comments section of her debut IG post there, after a fan asked about her new beau’s birthdate:
“He was 34 at the time of filming so it turns out that’s exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for asking.”

As you’ll recall, Jessica’s turn on the massive Netflix hit earlier this year was entirely centered around the fact that she’d gotten engaged to Mark Cuevas, a Chicago native ten years younger than her who is now facing his own scandal. While Mark didn’t have a problem with it — honestly, nobody in the world had a problem with it except for Jessica — her concerns over being 34 with a 24-year-old fiancé ultimately doomed their relationship, and Batten walked away from it all at the altar.

Her endless insistence on age being an issue — she said it so much that “I’m 34 and he’s 24” became a meme in its own right — left an indelible impression on viewers and, along with that infamous dog-drinking-wine incident, turned Jessica into one of the show’s most memorable cast members. Now, we’re just thankful she’s been able to find true happiness outside the show, and move beyond her reality TV persona. Here’s to the (former) reality TV star and her new man! May they have a wonderful time together moving forward! So happy for ’em!
