Another day, another islander’s past coming back to haunt them!
Love Island fans know Tierra Davis AKA Titi, right? The 25-year-old model/dancer entered this season of Love Island USA as a new bombshell during Casa Amor and coupled up with KC Chandler, who had been with Aniya Harvey. Watch the dramatic moment (below) if you haven’t yet:
But years before she stepped into the villa, Tierra found herself at the center of another drama — the legal kind! According to TMZ on Monday, a woman named Shayla Woodard filed a restraining order against the reality star in 2018, all because she allegedly assaulted her over jealousy involving an ex-boyfriend! Whoa!
Shayla, then 16, claimed a 17-year-old Tierra beat her up and threatened to shoot her with a gun. In the court docs, she said she knew the television personality from a friend of a former classmate but did not know her personally. However, Shayla alleged Tierra was upset because she knew her ex-boyfriend. She called the cops on Tierra, but she allegedly continued to harass her. Because of that, Shayla demanded a restraining order to prevent Tierra from contacting her and force her to stay away from her and her family. A temporary restraining order was granted, but the case was dismissed in December.
Does Love Island USA not do any background checks on contestants before they join the show? They have way too many people with problematic histories popping up these past few years! Yeesh!
At this time, Tierra hasn’t addressed the resurfaced restraining order reports. But that is unsurprising. She is currently filming the series amid all this, and until she leaves the villa, we won’t hear from her. That is, if she decides to address it at all! But will the Love Island producers kick her out early now? That’s also the question now!
And although Tierra is currently silent over the matter, sources came forward to TMZ with Shayla’s reaction! Shayla reportedly only learned she was on Love Island this week, but is not angry at her. In fact, she reportedly believes people can change and wishes nothing but the best for her. Wow! That’s a very mature reaction!
