Time to eat more fish!
A new military study has indicated that servicemen and women with lower levels of Omega-3 fatty acids are linked to a higher risk of suicide.
In fact, those with low levels were 60% more likely to end their own life. Why?
According to CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Omega-3 is a source of “good mood enhancers” like dopamine and serotonin. Individuals who aren’t getting enough of the fatty acid can have up to 50% less of these stabilizing chemicals flowing through their blood and brain!
