If this doesn’t give them a boost in ratings, nothing will!
Lucy Lawless has revealed that she will indeed be reprising her role as Lucretia in the upcoming second season of Spartacus. She explained to sources that her character will “unleash the demons from hell” after surviving her brutal stabbing whilst being pregnant in the first season.
Though she wouldn’t go into much detail about her return, she insisted that she trusts the show’s writers to give her character the right balance of grief and rage as exacts her revenge. She adds:
“She’s had something very precious, the only thing precious to her, taken away from her and there’ll be hell to pay.”
Nice! Sounds like the kind of action fans will want to see!
Too bad they have to wait until next year to see it. Whomp, whomp!
