This pilot just got some serious star power!
Continuing to take the unconventional route in its Sherlock Holmes remake, Elementary, CBS’s drama pilot, just inked Lucy Liu to star as Joan Watson, Sherlock faithful sidekick.
As previously reported, Jonny Lee Miller has been tapped to star as a rehabilitated Sherlock who now finds himself in NYC.
Liu’s Watson will have lost her medical license before the first episode due to the death of a patient and will serve as his “sober companion.”
This promises to have lots of dramz!!!
We’re interested to see where this pairing will go. Lucy had been sought after for two other pilots this season, so we’re interested to see why this one won out!
