There was a lot of concern around the TCA today when AMC opted out of having an executive Q&E session, as this would have been the opportune time for inquiring minds to ask about the future of the series Mad Men.
Thankfully, the network execs threw everyone a bone and announced that the series would be getting a fifth season shortly before presenting its new series, The Killing.
AMC SVP Joel Stillerman made the announcement, though he added it was all still in “negotiations.”
Uh-oh. Why don’t we like the sound of “negotiations”?
Perhaps they are just waiting to see how well the show fairs at the Golden Globes, like last year.
