After all the recent chatter….
A spokesperson for Madonna, longtime rep Liz Rosenberg, has finally released a statement denying reports that her marriage to Guy Ritchie is heading for divorce.
Her publicist would not have released a statement without Madonna’s permission, so this is clearly a message she wants to get out there!
The statement reads, “Madonna’s husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family (not in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving). There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce.”
As for the rumors circulating that Madonna and NY Yankees star Alex Rodriguez were hooking up, says the Queen of Pop’s rep, “Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary. They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There’s really not anything to comment on beyond that.”
It continues, “It’s nothing new that people are airing tons of dirty laundry Madonna’s way lately ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ much of it untrue.”
We’re inclined to believe the rep.
At least we want to believe her!
