And no, we’re not just talking about in North America! We already SAW how she dominated there!
According to Billboard‘s 2013 list of the top 40 highest-grossing musicians of the past 12 months, which, of course, takes into consideration album, touring, and publishing revenue, it was Madonna who come out on top, with an absolutely UNREAL $34,577,308.62!
Of course, she has to attribute some of that chunk of change to the OUT-OF-CONTROL, $305 million success of her SUPREME MDNA tour, but given the incredible amount of tireless work she put into making the show as wonderful as it was, we’d say the money is MORE than deserved!
But don’t worry, Springsteen fans! You shouldn’t be TOO disappointed!
The Boss wasn’t too far behind with an equally-impressive $33.4 million, with a portion of that coming from the $200 million his Wrecking Ball Tour took in!
