Just when we thought the custody battle was over, Madonna and Guy Ritchie continue to be at odds over their son Rocco.
As we reported, the former married couple resolved their differences over where Rocco should live just ahead of their court date last week, deciding to have the 16-year-old live in London with Ritchie as he continues his schooling.
Now we’re hearing the “concerned” 58-year-old packed her bags and headed over the pond after learning the filmmaker and his wife Jacqui Ainsley left Rocco “alone” to take a trip to El Lay.

A source told People the little excursion also overlapped with the teenager’s first day back to school, which Madge notoriously takes “very seriously”:
“Her kids’ education is the most important thing to Madonna. She takes their schooling very seriously.”
So all throughout the week the Like A Virgin singer has been spotted out and about in the U.K. capital, even visiting Rocco’s new school on Tuesday.
An onlooker said:
“[She] was very friendly with the teachers and was very relaxed.”
Afterwards, the mother and son dined with a pal at Notting Hill hot spot Farmacy:
“There was just a really good vibe. Everyone was smiling and laughing the whole evening. It was a very nice evening for them all. [Rocco] was just loving life and spending quality time with his mum.”
So far no word from Ritchie’s camp.
