Rob Lowe might’ve been a heartthrob back in the day, but Madonna‘s heart wasn’t the one throbbing for him!
In his new book, Love Life, Rob opens up about the wild days he spent with Madonna, including their electric first meeting!
The two first connected at an El Lay show in 1984:
“She was cute and she was young and she was single, and so I sat front-row .├óΓé¼ΓÇ░.├óΓé¼ΓÇ░.├óΓé¼ΓÇ░she was a revelation. ‘Madonna would like to see you backstage,’ a security guard said as the house lights came up. She had flawless skin and eyes that imparted secrets ├óΓé¼┬ª├óΓé¼ΓÇ░she asked what movie I was working on and so I told her a little about ├óΓé¼╦£St. Elmo├óΓé¼Γäós Fire,├óΓé¼Γäó which I had just finished. ├óΓé¼╦£I play the bad boy,├óΓé¼Γäó I said. Madonna just smiled. She seemed to like that.”
Unfortunately, it seems she didn’t like it enough to get him into bed!
Or maybe Rob was just a little too uptight for the free spirit that is Madge!
He revealed another meeting between the two months later at Palladium:
“Madonna and I were discussing where we would sneak off to at the end of the evening when she suddenly jumped up and said, ├óΓé¼╦£Let├óΓé¼Γäós dance!├óΓé¼Γäó.├óΓé¼ΓÇ░.├óΓé¼ΓÇ░.├óΓé¼ΓÇ░├óΓé¼╦£I├óΓé¼Γäóll wait here,├óΓé¼Γäó I said. ├óΓé¼╦£Suit yourself,├óΓé¼Γäó she replied as she waded beyond the velvet rope into the fray. ├óΓé¼╦£You├óΓé¼Γäóre crazy,├óΓé¼Γäó I said, half meaning it. ├óΓé¼╦£No I├óΓé¼Γäóm not,├óΓé¼Γäó she said .├óΓé¼ΓÇ░.├óΓé¼ΓÇ░.├óΓé¼ΓÇ░├óΓé¼╦£I├óΓé¼Γäóm just not going to let success f├óΓé¼ΓÇ£k up my fun.├óΓé¼Γäó”
That is SO MADONNA!!
And from the looks of her many years of fun since, we’re guessing nothing had f*cked up her good times!
But we’re just bummed the potential good times between her and Rob were f*cked up├óΓé¼┬ªand not in the kinky way! LOLz!
