Sources are claiming that the American Idol execs in charge of finding a replacement for Simon Cowell are looking to the Material Girl to take his seat.
Insiders seem to believe that the idea came from the Idol boss Simon Fuller, as Madonna is on the top of his wish list.
The show eats up a lot of time, time that Madge doesn’t have, so there really is no way this is going to happen.
Course, there are those who understand that, so if she won’t come on as a judge, everyone agrees they would still loved her to be a mentor.
Now THAT we could see happening.
But the hunt continues in finding a replacement for Simon. As it is, production for next season has already been pushed back to September to give the show more time in finding someone. As Simon puts it, they need to find a person who “actually knows what they’re talking about”.
Problem solved! We know EXACTLY what we are talking about! There should only be one name on Simon Fuller’s brain for the job:
